Joe Cooper has over 16 years of experience in the building and landscaping industry, where he successfully ran his own company for 13 years. With a strong background in project management and hands-on trade expertise, Joe brings practical knowledge and leadership to every role. He now serves as a Health and Safety Officer at JMD, ensuring safe working environments and promoting best practices across all operations.

Mark White began his engineering career with BAE Systems, gaining a strong foundation in marine engineering and mechanical systems integration. He went on to complete a comprehensive apprenticeship in building services, specialising in the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of commercial and domestic gas and oil-fired systems.

With more than 23 years of experience in HVAC and building services engineering, Mark has worked across a wide range of technical and managerial roles. His expertise includes heating plant design, energy efficiency optimisation, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of large-scale mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects.

As Regional Manager for one of the UK’s largest facilities management companies, Mark was responsible for overseeing complex commercial operations, multi-site engineering teams, and high-value service contracts. He also held responsibility for Gas Safe compliance across a workforce of more than 300 gas engineers, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to industry standards.

Over a decade ago, he established his own company to provide technically robust HVAC and building services solutions to the commercial sector. Today, Mark continues to lead projects directly, bringing detailed technical knowledge, a strong focus on system reliability, and a commitment to engineering excellence.

Doug Willats brings over 14 years of experience in the plumbing and heating industry, backed by a strong foundation of discipline and practical skills gained from his time in the Merchant Navy. His career at sea developed qualities such as problem-solving under pressure, adaptability, and teamwork, all of which he has successfully transferred into his trade. Doug combines technical expertise with a customer-focused approach, ensuring reliable, efficient, and high-quality service in every project he undertakes.
